Google AdWords Dorset
While researching the popularity of PPC search terms I was surprised to find that Google AdWords Dorset is a far more popular query than Google AdWords UK or London. Searches for Google AdWords Hampshire, Bournemouth and Southampton are also more popular searches within the UK.
Being based in Oxford myself I did some further research into the popular locations for Google AdWords searches, finding that the majority of UK queries came from the south of England which does help to back-up the search figures. What I did find surprising though was the fact that on an International scale the United States are the 5th most popular location for Google AdWords searches, behind India, Ireland, United Kingdom and New Zealand!
