Make your top pages work for you
One of the best ways to increase traffic to your website is to look at it through the eyes of a searcher.
Take a look at the top 10 pages on your site in terms of search traffic from Google and see what keywords people are using to find those pages. Do a search for those keywords yourself, what do you see?
Is your site number one? Does your title look right? How about the snippet? There is always room to make your title or snippet more “click able” and attractive to searchers, getting a 20% higher click through rate on your top 10 pages can have a huge effect on traffic.
Taking this a step further you can use a keyword tool to see what other phrases related to your top pages people search for and alter your title tags to include those phrases. Targeting two terms is always better than one.
Sometimes these small tips can have a huge effect.

Great post! Some of the keywords that I rank on the first page for are pretty obscure but the traffic adds up. I have a couple of keywords I am on the first page for that are unrelated to my products..strange. http://hot-product-reviews.com

On another blog i found tool: seodigger.com (outdated data but still useful) - it shows from which keywords your competition gain traffic.

I am surprised to see traffic on my on my own site via keywords unrelated to my actual page content. I truly wonder if even Google themselves know exactly how their spidering system works. Free traffic regardless isn’t a problem with me but it would be nice to understand this mystery.
